Assassin's Creed 3 Speculation: Revisited

Yes... Let's...
After watching someone play "The Da Vinci Disappearance", and conversing with others who have either done the same or have played the DLC, I've come to find that some of my speculations were a bit off. "A bit off" meaning "completely wrong". Before your read this, however, you have to read the original post. That way, you know kind-of what I'm talking about...

Hokay! Here's the video of the first part, which is the only part I'm really interested in.

The part I'm listening to is from 0:35 to 0:53. Here's what they say:

Voice one: "What's happening?"
Voice two: "Ezio seems to be remembering something... Something from 1506."
Voice three: "Desmond's heart rate is increasing. I'm administering a sedative."
Voice four (may still be three): "No! The missing data may be there."
Voice five: "The Piece of Eden is useless until we have it. Let him continue."
Voice six: "Yes, William."

First off, I'm pretty sure that there aren't six people here, and that the voices belong to two or three. However, I can't discern which voice is which. More important though, is what is being said. These voices sound like some of the same ones at the end of Brotherhood (the ones that talk during the credits). So here is where we run into a few problems with the original theories...

Son Theory: BUSTED. If these are the same people from the end of the game, then you are still Desmond, still alive, and still in the Animus. So the "Son Theory" is busted... Wide open...

New Theory: You are Desmond at a later date reliving your own past in the Animus. My guess is that the Assassin's are now in a desperate race to find the Pieces of Eden before the Templars (as if they weren't already in a rush before). One of these voices (voice five, I believe) belongs to William, who has contacted you and Rebecca in regards to the memory that has recently been unlocked ("The Da Vinci Disappearance" DLC). At least, I think he's the one contacting you. The initials at the bottom are W.M., and I'm assuming that William ("Voice Five") is one of the Assassins helping you out. Here are the messages you receive at the beginning and end of the DLC:

In this first message, William tells you that he had previously prepared for the possibility that Desmond may unlock specific memories from Ezio in the year 1506. He says that Rebecca is to give this message to you when, or if, you find them. He also says this is confidential, and that he wanted to involve as few people as possible.

In the second message, William relays to Desmond that the information he gathered from the "1506" memory was useful, and that they've found what they were looking for. He then tells you not to tell Lucy or Shaun, because "our security depends on it".

I was already suspecting Lucy of not being who she claims she is, and with this I feel even more confident of that theory. But now Shaun is a security hazard? What!? Rebecca apparently can be trusted, seeing as how William told her to tell you about this memory. Could Shaun be a part of the conspiracy? As much as I don't want to believe it, I have to think that Lucy is a double-agent for Abstergo. A lot of things point to that.

Another theory is that these voices found you after the end of Brotherhood, having already stabbed Lucy and passed out. They threw you back into the Animus and had you go back through all your memories, starting with Abstergo and Altair. What then, became of Shaun and Rebecca? AARRGGH! So many mysteries!

Oh, and thanks you Ubisoft for allowing me to waste so much time making pointless speculation, only to have it blown apart by a DLC... Please, hurry up with the next game so I don't have to keep coming up with new theories. Please...
